Private Tequila Factory and Local Villages

This private combination tour is ideal to experience local life outside of the city as you visit two villages and experience their local activities and lifestyles. La Noria and La Vinata are your destinations for the day as well as a farm known for raising the best "dancing horses" in the region.

Be met directly at the port by your local, knowledgeable driver and guide and set off driving north of Mazatlán to visit the village La Noria where you will observe the local activities being done the old-fashioned way. See leather belts and leather sandals being made by hand, small coconuts being carved into purses and a variety of other souvenirs all made while you watch. You can also see wooden horse saddles being carved by hand and a local-artists working with clay making pottery.

Not far from this village is La Vinata where you will drive through a scenic plantation where acres upon acres of the blue agave are being grown. Arrive at the tequila distillery where you will be briefed on the ancient and current process of producing tequila. Witness the equipment that was used in the 1800s to produce tequila and observe the newer equipment currently being used all while learning of the local activities in the village. Now it's time to sample the quality tequila being produced here. Taste this tequila and discover the unique flavor of this region.

Next you will drive to the farm where you can watch the "dancing horses" that are trained here and see a few of the horses put on a little show for you.

As this is a private tour you can decide where you would like to stop for some lunch (at your own expense) either in the village of La Noria or after you return to Mazatlán. Enjoy the beautiful sights and learn of the culture and history in this area of Mexico on this wonderful exclusive tour.
