Dave and Carolyn Owen opened Oui Travel in Wheaton, Illinios in 1988. In 1990, a second travel office was opened in Batavia, Illinios. 

As a family business, there is a sense of pride in all that we do. We all enjoy working with people and love to hear of their experiences and tales of travel!

Dave was a powerful force in the travel industry. He and his wife Carolyn built Oui Travel from the ground up and quickly became a household name in the area. Even during tough economic times, Dave and Carolyn kept Oui Travel's doors opened through hard-work, dedication and a love for ensuring the best travel experience for the customer! Dave and Carolyn have passed down these qualities to their children and employees.

Dave and Carolyn’s two daughters, Cindy and Laura, have now taken an active role at Oui Travel and can be found in the Batavia office most days. 

Cindy has spent many years perfecting her travel knowledge by experiencing many places around the world first-hand. She has traveled France, London, Eastern Canada, Italy, Greece, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, Egypt, Morocco, Singapore, Germany, Belgium, Malaysia, Budapest, Poland, Holland, Tanzania, Spain, Sweden, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania and the continental United States. She loves cruising and has been on a variety of ships and has visited many ports. So whether you are a novice or seasoned traveler, there is something to be learned from chatting with Cindy! Laura is is the longest standing employee at Oui Travel with 31 years under her belt and does all things Oui Travel in and out of the office. She can be seen managing the office, booking travel, resolving customer inquiries and managing the accounts.  Her travels include Scandinavia, Europe, Alaska, Hawaii Germany, France, Austria and several cruises including Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. Laura is the proud mother of 4 adult boys whom she shares with her bongo-playing husband, Julio.

Oui Travel's two other employees, Mary and Niki, are just as passionate as the sisters about all things travel and giving the best customer service experience.

Mary has been with Oui Travel for 24 years. Her travels include Hawaii, Italy, Great Britain, throughout the Caribbean and Europe. She is an expert in cruises and all-inclusive resorts. Mary and her husband, Kevin, are the loving parents of four adult children. 

Niki is the newest employee to be adopted into the Oui Travel family and started with the company in 2019. Her travels include the Continental United States, the Caribbean, Brazil, and her favorite destination, Israel. Niki is married to her beloved husband, Elijah, and are the blessed parents of four, very energetic, young children.
